Worship Services

     Our Sunday morning worship service is a traditional United Methodist worship service.  United Methodists will feel "connected" as they join in this service.  Each Sunday morning worship service is grounded in the scripture of the day, features fervent prayer, the great hymns of the faith, and anthems presented by the Chancel Choir accompanied by the pipe organ.

     The service begins at eleven o'clock in the Sanctuary, which is located at the corner of Fifth and Laurel.  A nursery and Children's Church are also available.  

 

     Our Sunday evening service is an informal service of music, Word and prayer.  Musical selections are taken from the Cokesbury Hymnal.  The evening message is presented by various clergy and lay speakers.  There is a time of sharing prayer needs and concerns with opportunity for unhurried prayer. 

     The service begins at six o'clock in the Hut, which is the old Sanctuary, located at the corner of Fifth and Main.
